New Piano Score: Patience
2 Corinthians 6:4 "But in all things we commend ourselves as ministers of God: in much patience, in tribulations, in needs, in distresses..." (NKJV)
May we be patient in times of trouble! Hesitant and quiet piano evokes feelings of patiently waiting and hoping for a good outcome, creating a dreary mood that is open-ended.
Play this late elementary piano solo for silent prayer during communion for Sunday worship services. This is a suitable piece to program for Lent and Good Friday.

I am pleased to announce that my piano score for Patience has been released! This is the 4th track of my album, Tranquility. The first 5 tracks on Tranquility have a somber mood which lightens after track 5 into more joyful music.
I improvised this piece whilst recording on Garage Band 2022 when I was feeling discouraged. This was the best part of the improvisation, so I saved it as a music track. Because it was MIDI, I thought it would be easier to transcribe, but I took a while editing it. This piece was released in late 2023, so it's been well over 2 years.
My goal is to compile all of my piano music into two music books to correspond with my current 2 albums, Tranquility and Serenity. I will released those digitally and maybe even in print forms if I can find the right distributor. I'm leaning towards Amazon KDP right now.
This project has been a wish-fulfillment for me. I loved playing music from No Words by Jim Brickman back in the 90s, so it's exciting to me to be close to realizing that dream! In this former post, I detailed a goal that I found written on a star from my junior year in high school. I hope that it can serve as an inspiration to set goals and find ways to realize them.
